Job summary

Stryker Sage is seeking a skilled Test Engineering professional to support design, development, and validation of medical products. This hybrid role in Cary, IL requires in-office presence 3 days a week, with travel up to 10%.

You will develop test plans, fixtures, and systems, analyze data, and mentor junior staff. Ideal candidates have a Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering background with 2+ years of experience and familiarity with test methods, DOE, Weibull, and FEA.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in test engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and own comprehensive test plans in collaboration with quality, design, and test engineering.
• Design, develop, and refine mechanical, electrical, and virtual test fixtures to meet functional requirements and reliability targets.
• Leverage laboratory capabilities, including hardware configurations, software integration, and data acquisition systems.
• Lead the development of test systems and fixtures supporting product development, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze test data, investigate failures, and lead root-cause analysis with formal test reports.
• Mentor junior test team members, technicians, and contractors, acting as a trusted SME.
• Evaluate, procure, and maintain actuation systems, instrumentation, sensors, and testing technologies.
• Serve as internal point of contact on test methods, standards, reliability tools, and statistical analysis.
