Job summary

AMT in Ohio designs and develops enteral feeding and surgical devices in a state-of-the-art facility near Cleveland. You will lead design and development from concept through manufacturing, coordinating prototyping, material research, sourcing, BOMs and process documentation.

The role requires a 4-year degree and at least 3 years of design experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D modeling is essential; medical device development and FDA submissions are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of design/product development experience.
• Creative thinker with practical execution.
• Advanced SolidWorks and/or other 3D modeling software experience.
• Medical device development and FDA submissions experience a plus.
• Injection molding familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and improve existing products, processes, and materials.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Sample alternate materials and test them.
• Manage projects with timelines and status updates.
• Present project status updates to stakeholders.
• Prototype and test products.
• Liaise with vendors for samples and quotes.
• Analyze costs and provide component/assembly price breakdown.
• Create BOMs and develop manufacturing procedures.
• Transfer designs to manufacturing and support production.
