Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Medical Billing and Patient AR Supervisor in San Antonio, Texas. This in-office role oversees a team handling insurance follow-up and accounts receivable, with a starting salary of $55,000–$60,000 and standard hours Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, auditing, Medicare compliance, and updating department policies to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in medical claims with at least 1 year of managerial or lead experience.
• Medicare guidelines and healthcare claims regulation knowledge.
• Previous Accounts Receivable experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and staffing to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Administer day-to-day workflow to meet goals.
• Follow policies and procedures and keep them updated.
• Perform production and quality audits.
• Complete performance evaluations promptly.
• Ensure Medicare compliance.
• Support team operations during staff absences and cover BCBS accounts when needed.
• Create, review, and update departmental policies and workflows.
• Assist with loading and auditing payer fee schedules.
• Manage escalations with accountability and urgency.
• Monitor and improve team performance.
• Review regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
