Job summary

Aurora Medical Group, Bay Settlement, Wisconsin, is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant or Lead Licensed Practical Nurse to support primary care clinics in Sturgeon Bay, New Franken, and Denmark. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with flexible shifts based on patient needs.

Compensation ranges from the posted pay scale and will reflect qualifications and experience. The position involves coordinating clinic workflows, supervising staff, administering medications and vaccines,

Qualifications

5 years experience in nursing or medical assisting in outpatient or hospital settings.
LPN license or MA certification; BLS to be obtained within 45 days if required.
GED or HS equivalency diploma.
MA: completion of a medical assisting program or 2 years of full-time MA experience in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
Oversee day-to-day operations and workflow to maximize staff efficiency and effectiveness.
