Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential is required.
• Completion of a formal MA training program or at least 3 years of MA experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire; prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leadership to improve processes and patient care.
• Build strong relationships with providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Exceed customer service expectations and communicate effectively.
• Serve as a super user for data entry and department clinical skills and train others.
• Prioritize duties in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and guide staff accordingly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telephone triage and patient calls management.
