The Lead Medical Assistant serves as a resource to other Medical Assistants within their office by mentoring, training, and leading day-to-day operations. In addition to their Lead duties, they may also perform standard MA functions such as assisting patients and performing various diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and vitals.

Job Description

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Medical Assistant experience.
  • For NJ only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program with at least 330 hours of instruction, including training in intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
  • For internal Einstein applicants: Medical Assistant certification is not required if currently employed in a Medical Assistant role at Einstein with a hire date prior to 7/1/2024.
