Job Summary:
Assists in the delivery of primary health and patient care management by effectively performing select Lead medical assistant and administrative/clerical duties.

Department: EHPN Dermatology
Location: New Milford, NJ
Status: Full Time

Hours: Variable

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• Current CMA certification required
• Current CPR certification required
• Minimum of four years of clinical experience in a medical office required
• Must have knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer to patient care
• Skilled in taking vitals and maintain medical records and recording test results
• Knowledge in medical abbreviations and terminology
• Knowledge in computer systems and applications, EMR experience a plus
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, co-workers, hospital administration
• Ability to exercise initiative, problem solving, and decision-making
• Previous insurance pre-certification experience preferred
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
