HS Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant certification required. Minimum of 2 years Medical Assistant experience.
For NJ Only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program, including at least 330 hours of instruction and training in administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
For internal Einstein applicants only: Medical Assistant certification is not required if currently employed in a Medical Assistant role at Einstein with a hire date prior to 7/1/2024.
Experience in a physician's office or healthcare setting preferred.
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of hire. BLS through the American Red Cross may be acceptable at some Pennsylvania locations.
