Job summary

Providence Saint John's Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant IV who can perform advanced MA duties under a licensed practitioner's delegation. The MA IV will lead in multiple complex specialties, oversee ambassadors and quality champions, and work within a dynamic clinic environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of medical assisting in a clinic, BLS within 30 days, and may bring prior PSJH clinic experience or lead MA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants (MA I–III).
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or,
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or,
• Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire:
• 3 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 3 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting in lieu of
