Job Type: Full-time Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for patient care. As the Lead Medical Assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the medical assistant team, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the medical assistant team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Manage patient flow and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Cover medical assistant position in the event of call outs and vacations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant, preferably in a pain management or similar clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • eClinicalworks experience is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation with ability to travel between clinics.
