Job summary

Vancouver Clinic seeks a Lead Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine in Happy Valley and Gresham, OR. You will room patients, collect information, and prepare them for exams while supporting procedures and care delivery.

The role includes overseeing daily operations, guiding team members, and improving patient flow to ensure a smooth experience. Oregon-certified MA with CPR and Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current national certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) and American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience with an electronic health record system; Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • Completion of Oregon State‑approved chaperone training.
  • Completion of CPT‑2 course (CPT‑2 course: https://pbieducation.com/courses/ctp-2/).
  • Reliable and predictable attendance.

Job Overview

Lead Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine (Happy Valley & Gresham, OR)

Responsibilities
  • Room patients, collect patient information and prepare them for examination.

Schedule

Monday—Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $27.47–$38.46 per hour (starting at $28.02/hour and increases based on experience). Eligible for benefits beginning on the first of the month following one month of employment, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, long‑term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, and multiple supplemental benefits.
