Danos is seeking a Mechanical Technician III in Carlsbad, NM, to perform planned mechanical maintenance and support safe, reliable operation of equipment. You will work with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance staff to execute plans, troubleshoot issues, keep technical records, and ensure all work meets procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating workloads, assisting with planning, and maintaining Caterpillar engines, Ariel compressors, pumps, and rotating equipment

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with Caterpillar engines.
• Experience with Ariel compression.
• Experience with screw compressors.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting pumps.
• Ability to read and follow job plans and technical documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Mansioni

• Perform scheduled and corrective mechanical maintenance activities.
• Estimate workloads and establish expected completion dates.
• Assist mechanical engineers with planning, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical equipment and components.
• Perform maintenance on Caterpillar engines, Ariel compressors, screw compressors, pumps, and related rotating equipment.
• Review job packs before beginning assigned work.
• Identify job-related safety hazards and mitigate risks before work begins.
• Record equipment maintenance and history in GRT and related systems.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve job plans and packs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
