Job Summary

Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability
  • Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve long term system performance issues
  • Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/ license basis

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical / Chemical/ Industrial / Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related industry experience
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations
  • Will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business
  • Available for Shift Work. Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
  • A valid Real ID or an approved form of alternate documentation (https://www.pseg.com/IDrequirement) is required for this job.

Desired:

  • Greater than seven years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering
  • SRO license/certification or System Engineering
  • MS or PE
