Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee all mechanical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery across multiple industrial sites.

You will supervise mechanical crews, coordinate with engineers and other trades, plan and execute mechanical work scopes, and maintain strict adherence to project schedules and budgets. A strong safety culture and experience with piping, HVAC, and pumps are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of mechanical supervision experience in construction.
• Proven ability to manage mechanical crews and complex installations.
• Strong knowledge of piping, HVAC, pumps and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• High commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Plan, schedule and execute mechanical work activities including equipment installation, piping, and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, promoting regulatory compliance.
• Review blueprints and ensure accurate mechanical installations.
• Oversee quality and perform inspections to ensure standards.
• Manage material and equipment usage to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other superintendents for seamless execution.
• Prepare daily/progress reports and documentation.
• Train and mentor crew members and troubleshoot problems.
