Job summary

System One is seeking a Lead Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to complete the start-up and commissioning of a gas-fired simple cycle unit fleet at Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This on-site contract role covers 40 hours per week and requires coordinating installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems for multiple units.

You will lead on-site teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure safety standards during a 24-month project starting early next year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical systems, preferably in power generation or similar industrial settings.
• Strong background in working with GE 7FA.05 turbines or similar equipment.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams.
• Ability to start around the first of the year for a project duration of 24 months.
