Job summary

PKF-Mark III, Inc. is seeking an experienced mechanical/plant Project Manager to lead single or multiple job sites in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of construction experience in mechanical/plant/electrical fields, and a Bachelor's degree. Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication are essential. Safety is paramount.

This role requires coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience, preferably in the mechanical/plant/electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are completed with the highest level of safety.
• Manage cost and schedule for self-performed and subcontracted work.
• Liaise with owners, subcontractors, and other internal and external contacts.
• Select subcontractors through bid analysis and ensure contract issuance and proper insurances are in place prior to commencement of work.
• Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Manage the review and approval of project invoices, to ensure accurate vendor and subcontractor payments.
• Assist in the implementation of QA/QC programs.
• Confer with upper management to ensure all work procedures and constructability issues are resolved with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and designers.
• Evaluate weekly construction methods, determine cost-effectiveness, and discuss any concerns with Project Superintendent.
