Job summary

The Lead Mechanical Field Engineer will oversee the mechanical field engineering team for the CCGT project in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with possible start in Reston, VA. This role supports preconstruction planning and long-term assignment to the field on site.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with mechanical field engineering in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of codes, standards and constructability in mechanical systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees mechanical field engineering activities within the construction discipline.
• Directs coordination with engineering on constructability and design issues.
• Ensures mechanical materials and equipment meet drawings, specs, and quality requirements.
• Leads safety-conscious planning and execution of field mechanical operations.
