Actalent, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Team Leader to guide the design of mechanical building systems across K-12, Healthcare, Higher Education, and more.

You will lead a mechanical engineering team to produce construction documents using Revit and manage project schedules to meet deliverables. As part of an integrated design team, you will coordinate with other disciplines, supervise engineers and designers, and support business development through RFP participation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred
• 8+ years leading Mechanical Engineers on complex projects
• LEED Accredited Professional and green building experience
• Healthcare mechanical design experience
• Experience with BIM workflows (Autodesk Revit MEP)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Mechanical Engineering discipline in Charlotte, NC
• Plan workplans and manage staff to meet profitability goals
• Assign duties and projects to staff to balance workload and grow revenue
• Schedule and document meetings with staff and clients
• Support business development through RFPs and interviews
• Coordinate with integrated design teams on building systems
• Develop mechanical designs from concept to construction
