Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer - Power Electronics to design innovative power supplies for data centers, industrial and telecom applications from concept to high-volume production. You will lead NPI/NTI efforts, resolve customer issues, and sustain existing products.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 7+ years in power electronics design; MS is a plus. Proficiency in CREO, Windchill, and ANSYS CFD is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering design experience with focus on power electronics.
• Experience with CREO, Windchill, and ANSYS CFD for thermal analysis.
• Design and manufacture of AC/DC or DC/DC power electronics products including PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative power supply products for data centers and telecom from concept to high-volume production.
• Lead NPI/NTI programs, resolve customer issues and sustain existing products.
• Create CAD models and 2D drawings, perform thermal simulations and tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews for PCBs and assemblies.
