OmniOn Power is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Datacenter Power System Development Team at our headquarters in Plano, Texas. You will lead mechanical design for power electronics, power supplies, and datacenter power systems from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of five years in design of power systems, power supplies, or power electronics.
• Experience leading products through full development lifecycle from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of advanced power system products from concept through production launch.
• Apply knowledge of AI infrastructure power requirements, including OCP and HVDC architectures.
• Conduct thermal analysis, simulation, testing, and validation to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, engineering specifications, and product drawings.
• Perform laboratory testing and product characterization in collaboration with technical support personnel.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, manufacturability, cost, and time-to-market objectives.
• Create and maintain detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and electronic design data.
• Develop and manage CAD models using Creo in a linked-design environment and validate associated engineering documentation.
• Generate engineering models to support analysis, tooling, fixtures, manufacturing processes, and inspection activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Systems Engineering, and Global Engineering to develop DC/DC power conversion solutions.
• Drive the integration of new technologies and design methodologies into next-generation products.
• Support design reviews, prototype builds, qualification testing, and product releases.
