Job summary

Saronic Technologies, based in Austin, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the development of mechanical infrastructure standards across all capital projects. You'll be crucial in defining standards for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, taking ownership throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in HVAC design, a strong industrial background, and a proven track record in managing complex systems. This role offers significant ownership and opportunities to make a lasting impact in the marine defense industry.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer (PE preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, IMC, IPC, ASHRAE, and NFPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical design standards.
• Support project scopes of work.
• Review 3rd party mechanical designs.
