Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for municipal water treatment and other projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a PE license, and at least 7 years of experience. Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary project phases, developing design documents, and coordinating with other disciplines. The position is full-time, based in Massachusetts, with a pay range of approximately $126,400 to $189,600 annually.
Qualifications
In-depth understanding of HVAC engineering fundamentals.
Experience in designing HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Strong familiarity with design codes and standards of practice.
Ability to lead one or more projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
Develop basis of design reports and technical memorandums.
Respond to RFIs and attend construction site visits.
Develop HVAC and plumbing calculations.
