Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Mechanical Engineer licensure per Florida Statutes required.
• Valid State of Florida or Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides mechanical engineering services for boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps and piping infrastructure to support renovations and upgrades.
• Develops engineering designs and specifications to produce construction documents per Florida Administrative Code 61G15-34.
• Reviews designs for compliance with FSU design guidelines, energy efficiency, maintainability and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinates purchasing, procurement, budgeting, and administrative management for mechanical projects and supports campus master planning.
