NC State University is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join the Building Maintenance & Operations team in Raleigh, NC. You will troubleshoot campus facility and utility systems, support core infrastructure like chillers, boilers, AHUs, and coordinate multiple small projects from planning through completion.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot facility and utility systems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide engineering support for system operations, testing, planning, and load calculations.
• Manage multiple small projects, coordinating priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
• Develop concepts and basis-of-design documents with scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Review equipment specs, drawings, and submittals for design compliance.
• Read and interpret drawings and P&IDs; maintain redlines and docs.
