Job summary

GE Aerospace Lead Engineer for Mechanical Components will manage activities contributing to the design and development of products and systems. The role includes technical improvement of existing products and components, with emphasis on execution within standard practices.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of mechanical analysis experience, with access to US government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical analysis on several different model types.
• US citizenship or eligibility for US Government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to standards.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and apply experience to policy/strategy.
• Understand how the work of your team integrates with others and contributes to the area.
• Propose different solutions within set parameters and use on-the-job training to solve tasks.
