Job summary

Team 360 Staffing is seeking an experienced mechanical professional to lead HVAC and plumbing design for commercial projects in Bellevue, WA. You will act as the Engineer of Record, producing PE-stamped construction documents and Basis of Design materials.

You will develop concepts, coordinate with owners, architects, contractors, and consultants, and mentor engineers and designers while ensuring code compliance and high-quality drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HVAC or plumbing design experience.
• Washington State PE license or willingness to obtain quickly.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations and stamped construction documents.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Job description

• -Lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial construction projects.
• -Serve as the Engineer of Record and provide Washington State PE-stamped construction documents
• -Develop mechanical concepts and Basis of Design documentation -Prepare complete construction drawings and Division 22 & 23 specifications
• -Collaborate with owners, architects, contractors, and consultants throughout every phase of a project
• -Participate in project pursuits, interviews, and proposal development to help win new work -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and project teams
• -Support Design-Build, Design-Assist, Progressive Design-Build, MCCM, and Design-Bid-Build delivery methods
• -Review drawings for quality, constructability, coordination, and code compliance
• -Provide technical support during construction including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and problem-solving
• -Stay current with emerging technologies, energy codes, and industry best practices
• Required Qualifications
• -Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) License or be willing to get licensed in a short time frame
• -Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• -7+ years of HVAC OR plumbing design experience
• -Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems and applicable building codes
• -Experience preparing engineering calculations and stamped construction documents
• -Excellent communication and client relationship skills
