Qualifications

• Ability to learn/apply local, state/provincial and federal guidelines.
• Detail-oriented and time-conscious work approach.
• Professional registration and membership in a technical society (preferred).
• Knowledge of discipline codes and standards; materials cost awareness.
• Estimating effort and forecasting staff.
• Experience managing and leading large projects.
• Project setup, schedules, progress reports and close-out.
• Practical field experience.
• Proficiency with word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports and forecasts.
• Establish and monitor material quantities and provide forecasts.
• Develop and review specifications and design criteria.
• Participate in equipment procurement, permitting and subcontracting activities.
• Perform calculations, specify equipment and solve complex engineering problems.
• Lead and mentor other engineers and provide performance feedback.
• Analyze and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
