Job summary

Rite-Hite seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead product development from concept to production release. You will design and validate components, develop 3D models and drawings, and prepare BOMs and verification plans while coordinating tests and supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience taking products from concept through production release; proficiency with 3D CAD and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical product development from concept through production release.
• Develop 3D models, engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and verification plans.
• Create and revise documentation; conduct validation testing and outdoor tests when required.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Operations, and Suppliers.
• Mentor associates and drive redesigns for cost reductions and manufacturability.
