Job summary

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (ABET) with 7+ years of design experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and strong GD&T knowledge to deliver robust, cost-conscious tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years in mechanical design, drafting, fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Experience integrating pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical components.
• SolidWorks or other 3D CAD experience required.
• GD&T knowledge and tolerancing methods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, production, product management, service and repair teams to develop world-class products.
• Support products through their full lifecycle from quoting and design to manuals and customer support.
• Create manufacturing and assembly drawings, tolerance analyses, and documentation per ASME Y14.5M using SolidWorks.
• Design and draft mechanical tools, fixtures, and subassemblies for pipe/tube machining equipment.
• Manage medium/large projects with independence and deliver tasks on schedule.
• Assist and/or lead proposals and business development deliverables.
