Job summary

ColonialWebb seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex mechanical building projects in Central Virginia. This on-site role involves hands-on leadership, directing teams, and coordinating with subcontractors to deliver on schedule and within budget.

You will review drawings, manage equipment and material costs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across multi-year projects.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of commercial/industrial project management experience.
• Experience with high-value mechanical construction projects (> $10M).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for equipment, material and subcontractor estimates.
• Direct labor assignments and ensure adherence to schedule.
• Inspect ongoing and completed work for conformance to specs.
• Interpret drawings and job orders for installation work.
• Review shop/spool drawings for timely field install.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager on schedule, sequence and quality.
• Serve as Business Manager on construction projects.
