Job summary

JOA Human Resources is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee resources and staff for assembly of machines or kits. You will ensure timely procurement of prints, parts, and layouts, and supervise assembly teams and contractors to meet production standards.

The role requires oversight of project schedules, coordination with engineers and supervisors, and enforcing safety and quality practices across the assembly process.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a business discipline preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong math skills and metric conversions.
• Must read and understand blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR/AED training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of Assembly Project Leaders, Assemblers, and outside contractors (1–50 employees).
• Schedule manpower by assigning jobs after coordination with Project Coordinators.
• Coordinate project work with Mechanical assembly and supervisors to meet production schedule.
• Procure and maintain prints, layouts, and part lists for assembly processes.
• Attend Mechanical Project Engineer meetings to review design layouts and timing.
• Assist with engineering changes and prepare parts for assembly.
• Locate parts and prepare stations for testing and assembly work.
• Collaborate with engineers and test crews on test setups and equipment.
