Responsible for the effective use of available manpower to accomplish task assignments requested by Hanger/Line Manager or MAC Maintenance Control, ensuring the highest level of reliability and safety in accordance with all applicable MAC, manufacturer, and FAA policies, procedures, manuals, and regulations.

Responsibilities
  1. Assign and monitor individual task assignments to mechanics daily.
  2. Provide technical assistance to mechanics and work on aircraft as required.
  3. Ensure mechanics maintain current training status on assigned tasks.
  4. Perform Quality Control checks on work to ensure safety and reliability.
  5. Report daily aircraft status and man-hour utilization to Hanger/Line Manager.
  6. Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate in accordance with MAC standards.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain aircraft in accordance with safety, legality, and reliability standards.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
  10. Work involves heavy physical effort on occasion.
Qualifications
  • Airframe and Power Plant License.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and interactions.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with repair and troubleshooting documents like MM, IPC, SRM.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, work orders, and task instructions.
  • Knowledge of aircraft accessories, components, hardware, and fasteners.
  • Experience estimating hours and materials for projects.
  • Ability to operate aircraft systems and perform engine
