Job summary

LGSTX Services seeks a skilled MH Lead Mechanic 1 to maintain, repair, and upgrade conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The role involves reading technical manuals, fabricating components, troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical subsystems, and coordinating with operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work with contractors, supervise maintenance tasks, and contribute to uptime by planning emergency repairs and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Performs reactive repairs and preventative maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Reads and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and constructs mechanical and electrical systems including compressors and control devices.
• Keeps safety top of mind and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Serves as a mentor to less experienced MHE mechanics and coordinates with operations.
