Job Summary
Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment utilized for maintenance activities, determining the actual needs for material and equipment, and maintaining and improving current facilities cost effectively. Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of power mechanical equipment and company vehicles.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

• Prepares accurate records on maintenance, repairs and fuel levels of equipment.
• Maintains all decals, safety warnings, and company ID stickers.
• Completes work orders for internal and external repairs.
• Repairs power and mechanical equipment.
• Maintains company vehicles.
• Checks and refuels equipment.
• Undertakes complex repair and maintenance projects.
• Reports safety violations to supervisor.
• Provides guidance, training, and technical assistance to support personnel.
• Contributes to employees' professional development without hiring/firing authority.

Nature and Scope

• May modify processes to resolve situations.
• Relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes under limited supervision.
• Determines course of action by interpreting procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments if applicable.

Environmental Job Requirements

• Typically in a comfortable environment but with exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• No travel required.
• Requires intermittent physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting (some over 50 pounds), and maneuvering equipment.
