Job summary

Walmart in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to drive sales in the meat department and support member satisfaction. You will cut, slice, grind and wrap meat to spec, while maintaining safety and stock levels.

You’ll use handheld tech to monitor production and assist training, serving as a role model for high-quality service. You will collaborate with teammates to meet demanding goals, manage shrink, and help tell customers what to buy while ensuring proper packaging and labeling.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the meat department and help ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process meat to specifications by cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping.
• Operate and sanitize equipment, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
• Utilize handheld devices to monitor production, training, and product quality.
• Mentor and train other associates, supporting department goals and process improvements.
