Job summary

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to deliver full lifecycle engineering for unmanned aircraft programs. You will develop requirements, architectures, and MBSE artifacts, and lead technical reviews with internal teams and customers.

Join a defense/aerospace focused environment, apply Cameo modeling, and support proposal activities while traveling up to 25% to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience developing system requirements and verification documentation.
• Leadership experience on defense/aerospace programs.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose stakeholder requirements and allocate to system elements.
• Develop system architectures and MBSE artifacts (interface definitions, system schematics).
• Create and maintain system verification plans and test strategies (HWIL, subsystems, system testing).
• Lead or support design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and technical proposals.
