Qualifications

• PhD in Math is strongly recommended; proven results count.
• Ability to define research plans and pursue open-ended problems.
• Good judgement on when full proofs are worth the effort.

Responsibilities

• Own the proof engine end-to-end and prove kernels across edge cases.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to model new devices formally.
• Formalize numeric stability and convergence across architectures.
• Research prediction of training divergence during runs.
• Collaborate on post-training proofs and program verification.
• Formalize low-precision computation and numerical stability.
• Verify safety of sandboxes with formal proofs.
