Mathnasium offers a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor role focused on after-school and weekend sessions to help K-12 students excel in math. You will lead and coach a team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, while monitoring progress and communicating with families.

We provide continuous training, curriculum tools, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive learning culture. The position operates in-center with potential online components as needed.

Qualificações

• Passion for math and helping students to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with parents and students.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in Mathnasium Method.
• Strong math competency through Algebra I or higher.
• Ability to balance leadership duties with instructional tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in small groups.
• Assess student progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method and terminology.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

What you will do as a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting


• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions


• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians


• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices


• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I

As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
