Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in the United States (Texas) seeks a skilled Material Planner to liaison between Engineering and Supply Chain, review engineering docs, validate material callouts, and optimize procurement schedules for aircraft interiors.

You will manage BOMs, evaluate drawings, and coordinate cross-functional teams to improve part availability and production flow. Strong MRP, AX, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience; aerospace background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, and material planning.
• Experience with Dynamics AX and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret material specs.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Bill of Materials in the MRP system from engineering drawings to initiate purchasing requirements.
• Reviews drawings, quantifies material needs, and builds BOM in the system.
• Leads planning to support production and schedule.
• Provides training, mentoring, and coaching to staff.
• Schedules material deliveries to support installation programs.
• Identifies substitute parts for cost and schedule improvements.
• Prepares purchase requisitions using the Planning BOM.
