Job description

Job Responsibilities

o Pick production materials identified on Kanban cards from designated Markets in an accurate and timely manner.

o Safely operate an electric tugger to deliver production material to assigned production lines in a timely and efficient way.

o Load required materials, including Purchased Goods, Work in Process Containers, Finished Goods Pallets, and Scrap Bins onto the Tugger and transport to the indicated areas and unload the materials in an accurate and timely manner.

o Maintain KANBAN areas; straightening up component inventory and ensuring everything is in the correct place.

o Ensure finished good skids are properly stacked, production form is filled out and delivered to a designated department.

o Review inventory daily and established minimum quantity levels; record on track sheet items to be ordered.

o Maintain all Kanban cards and notify leadership when an issue is identified.

o Communicate continuous improvement opportunities to leadership.

o Document all requests for components to be delivered to lines.

o Assist Senior Supervisor – Material Control in inventory audit counts and inputting production as needed.

o Maintain work area clean of debris by performing proper housekeeping on a regular basis.

o Follow all general safety regulations, use provided safety equipment as required.

o Perform all other duties assigned by the Senior Supervisor – Material Control.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

o A High school diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.

o Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish); verbal and written skills.

o Ability to lift a maximum forty pounds.

o Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and pushing repetitively.

o Ability to operate a Tugger/Forklift. Forklift certification is required (will go through Arrow Certification process as needed)

o Ability to compute basic math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

o Must be detail orientated and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

o Effective communication skills while working with department teammates and all level Supervisors.

o Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

o Previous experience with inventory management is a plus.

o Must be available to work Overtime as needed.
