ALead Material Handleris responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within a warehouse or production facility. This role involves both hands-on material handling and supervisory duties to ensure efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.

  • Oversee a team of material handlers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ensure all material handling activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies in material flow and propose solutions to optimize operations.
  • Work closely with warehouse managers, procurement teams, and logistics personnel to streamline supply chain processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Requires 2+ yearsin material handling, with at least1 yearin a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse tracking software.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, often up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to train and mentor staff, and excellent problem-solving abilities
