CEVA Logistics seeks a Material Handler Lead (2nd Shift - B2B) in Melrose Park, IL. You will lead a team, oversee loading/unloading, manage material organization, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, 1 year warehouse experience, forklift certification may be required, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication across a diverse team.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; one year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; ability to climb ladders; good or corrected vision; ability to add and subtract.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team and distribute work assignments; promote safe work practices; post performance numbers.
• Oversee loading and unloading of products.
• Manage material organization by moving materials from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products.
• Comply with procedures for handling and receiving goods.
• Label, tag and pack goods in assigned area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets; move to packing/shipping.
• Assist in receiving cargo with hand tools or pallet jack; move as needed.
• Sort materials on racks according to size, type, or product code.
