Job summary

Silverado Resort is seeking a Lead Massage Therapist to deliver exceptional massage and body treatments while serving as a senior resource for the team. The role supports service quality, onboarding, and protocol consistency, and assists spa leadership with daily operations.

You will model guest care and professionalism, mentor therapists, and help maintain room readiness, sanitation standards, and accurate treatment notes.

Qualifications

• California Massage Therapy license or Napa Permit required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional massage therapy experience preferred.
• Advanced technical skill across multiple modalities (Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, sports, prenatal).
• Prior mentoring or lead therapist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contraindications, sanitation standards, and guest safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver massage and body treatments per spa protocols and standards.
• Perform thorough guest consultations and tailor treatments based on guest needs.
• Lead and mentor massage team; support onboarding and training.
• Assist leadership with audits, skill checks, and protocol refreshers.
• Maintain guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Promote spa services, enhancements, and wellness programs.
• Maintain treatment notes and guest intake documentation.
• Ensure room readiness and equipment cleanliness.
