Job Summary

The Lead Massage Therapist (Functional) acts as a massage therapist while also taking on a leadership role, coaching and mentoring the Massage Therapy team. Responsible for onboarding, training, and maintaining brand standards through service flow and protocols.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all essential Massage Therapist duties and deliver excellent customer service.
2. Provide orientation and lead training for new hires and new services.
3. Conduct team meetings for performance feedback and ongoing education.
4. Ensure massage technique and brand standards are followed through quarterly practicals.
5. Assist management with boutique operations and serve as a liaison between therapists and leadership.
6. Conduct monthly inventories of linen and equipment.
7. Share feedback and suggestions for improvements with the Leadership Team.
8. Maintain flexibility for additional responsibilities as they arise.
9. Represent The NOW with professionalism and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Experience as a lead and/or trainer in massage therapy.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• CAMTC License/certification required; must present and maintain it throughout employment.
• Knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and other modalities.
• Excellent guest service skills.
