Job Summary

The Lead Massage Therapist (Administrative) acts as a massage therapist while also serving in a leadership role, coaching and mentoring the Massage Therapy team. Responsible for team scheduling, goal setting, and maintaining brand standards through service flow and protocol.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform all essential Massage Therapist duties and excel in customer service, leading by example.
  2. Manage all schedules, including adjustments for absences, coverage, and white space.
  3. Set and execute team goals based on Leadership guidance.
  4. Conduct team meetings for performance feedback and updates from Leadership and Corporate.
  5. Audit certification compliance, NOW360 training, and continuing education for therapists.
  6. Assist management with boutique operations and serve as a liaison between therapists and Leadership.
  7. Conduct monthly inventories of linen and equipment for operational readiness.
  8. Share feedback and suggestions with the Leadership Team for ongoing improvements.
  9. Maintain flexibility to handle ad hoc and additional responsibilities as they arise.
  10. Represent The NOW with professionalism and a commitment to an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
  • Experience as a lead and/or trainer in massage therapy.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
  • CAMTC License/certification required; must present and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Knowledge of Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage, and other modalities.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
