Qualifications

• M.Sc. degree with 6+ years’ work experience or Ph.D. with 2+ yrs. in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with mass-spectrometry based solutions for novel applications.
• Experience with analytical instruments such as mass spectrometers, gas analyzers, or plasma diagnostics.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (etch, CVD, ALD).
• Strong product development lifecycle knowledge for new product introduction.
• Proven success in delivering customer-facing presentations and communications.
• Up to 30% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop intricate operational knowledge of MS products under development.
• Hands-on instrument configuration, calibration, validation, and performance testing.
• Develop market-driven applications with potential customers.
• Support Aston evaluations at semiconductor OEMs and fabs.
• Provide on-site setup, debugging, and performance analysis of Aston systems.
• Identify key application-specific requirements early in customer engagements.
• Develop Aston solution bundles based on tailored HW and SW features.
• Create support plans and timelines for key customers.
• Strengthen customer relations through technical competence.
• Identify new opportunities and write proposals.
• Deliver customer-facing presentations and pre-sale demonstrations.
• Develop and deliver HW/SW related training sessions.
• Acquire and analyze samples and provide reports to close opportunities.
• Contribute to next generation product roadmaps and development reviews.
