Job summary

Copper River & The Native Village of Eyak is seeking a Quality Assurance Electrical Engineer to support the QA Program across marine fabrication, production, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. You will provide technical direction on electrical quality items and help shape the organization’s quality strategy with the Quality Manager and Executive Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; alternatives accepted with experience.
• Minimum 7 years in electrical fabrication, installation, inspection, or marine manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain Oregon Boater’s certification/card.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support ISO 9001 Quality Management System for electrical production.
• Verify installations meet routing, separation, grounding, labeling, and system configuration requirements.
• Inspect electrical panels, switchboards, wiring, and shore power systems.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Program Management, and Supply Chain teams.
• Conduct in-process and final electrical quality inspections.
• Lead root cause analyses, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Provide training on electrical workmanship and inspection requirements.
