Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, deploy, and own test systems for scaling from prototype to high-volume production. You will create data-friendly test stations and partner with engineering to ensure robust, operator-friendly production tests at rate.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in electromechanical test systems, proficiency with LabVIEW and Python-based automation, and strong collaboration with design engineering and validation teams to enable scalable

Qualifications

7+ years designing and deploying manufacturing test systems for electromechanical products.
Hands-on experience developing in-line and end-of-line test systems with pass/fail criteria and data collection.
Proficiency with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Python-based test automation, and instrumentation specifications.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy electromechanical subassembly test stations and end-of-line tests for medium-to-high throughput.
Translate design verification requirements into production-grade test procedures with clear pass/fail criteria.
Own the test data pipeline end-to-end and define data schemas for real-time production visibility.
Develop operator-friendly test setups with intuitive UIs and guided recovery.
Collaborate with software/controls teams to maintain version control and calibration procedures.
Analyze test data to identify root causes and drive design improvements.
