Job summary

EPC Power is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Lead to supervise a team of technicians and assemblers, directing day‑to‑day production and ensuring quality workmanship on time. The role requires reading engineering drawings and electrical schematics, plus hands‑on wiring and labeling duties.

You will participate in early production runs, support first article wiring, and create layout sketches for component placement while troubleshooting with a multimeter.

Qualifications

• Provide day to day direction and oversight to the manufacturing technicians and assemblers.
• Read and redline electrical schematics.
• Work with wiring and labeling.
• Understand the functionality of electrical components.
• Participate in first time production runs of new products.
• Experience with first article panel and enclosure wiring.
• Create layout sketches/drawings of component placement.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using a multi‑meter.
• Perform a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and assemblers on daily tasks.
• Review work instructions, drawings, and bill of materials for accuracy.
• Oversee production runs and ensure quality and on‑time delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements and 5S housekeeping.
• Collaborate with engineering for design clarifications and changes.
