Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while developing people and improving processes.

This role supports the third shift (Sunday night through Friday morning 11:30 PM–7:30 AM). You will work with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work across shifts and support weekend operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of production employees to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and efficiency targets.
• Coach, train, and engage employees to foster a safe and organized environment.
• Schedule resources to meet production demands and minimize backlog.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenges and optimize workflows.
• Support employee development through training and mentorship.
